Mr. Brown is a lifelong resident of El Paso, Texas graduating from The University of Texas at El Paso in 1989. He obtained his law degree from Texas Tech in 1992. He worked as a Briefing Attorney at the El Paso Court of Appeals (1992-1993) and an Assistant District Attorney for El Paso County (1993-1995). Since 1995, Mr. Brown has been in private practice, first with a civil defense firm, and beginning in 2000, as a solo practitioner. Mr. Brown’s practice is devoted to criminal and civil trial work with an emphasis on DWI defense. He is licensed to practice in all state courts in Texas as well as the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas, the Eastern District of Texas, and the United States Tax Court. Additionally, Mr. Brown has successfully litigated commercial matters in multiple states including Hawaii, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Florida.
